Outgoing Peace Now director announces bid for Meretz leadership
The outgoing Peace Now Director Avi Buskila announced he will be running the Meretz primaries to content for the party's leadership.
In a message posted on his Facebook account, Buskila wrote, "Meretz is an amazing party, but for the longest time we've conducted ourselves like a rusty ship that has not been on water in ages."
"You have to not only respond to reality, but shape it," Buskila said.
Buskila announced his resignation earlier Sunday.
