Israeli novelist, poet and journalist Haim Gouri passed away on Wednesday at age 94.
Gouri won the Israel Prize for poety, the Sokolov Prize for journalism and the Newman Prize for literature.
He was a fighter in the Palmach and fought in three of Israel's wars in the IDF.
He is survived by a wife, three daughters and six grandchildren.
