UN unable assign responsibility for Syria airbase attack

The United Nation's special envoy to Syria said Monday the international body was unable to determine who was behind the strike on the T-4 base in Syria.

"The United States and France had specifically denied responsibility for that attack, while the Russian Federation and Syria had suggested that Israel was responsible. The United Nations was unable to independently verify or assign responsibility for that attack, but it urged all parties to show restraint," Staffan de Mistura said.
