Lieberman leaves for US for work visit

Minister of Defense Avigdor Lieberman will fly to the United States overnight Wednesday for a work visit.

Lieberman will meet with his counterpart American Secretary of Defense James Mattis as well as with National Security Advisor John Bolton and representatives of the Armed Services Committee in the US Senate.

The main objective of Lieberman's visit is the security coordination between Israel and the US in light of adverse developments in the Iranian entrenchment in the Middle East, and in Syria in particularly.
