VP Pence: US Embassy move is way to peace
Vice President Mike Pence spoke at an event commemorating 70 years since Israel's independence at the Israeli Embassy in Washington and welcomed the move of the American mission to the capital.
"In recognizing the city as Israel's capital, Trump has chosen truth over fiction—and truth is the only basis for a just, lasting peace," he said.
Speaking on the Iranian strike against Israel lasts week, Pence said, "The Iran deal has brought neither calm nor peace, and never will. In fact, Iran's unprecedented missile attack against Israel has proven how right Trump's decision was to pull out of the deal, and this dangerous and aggressive action only strengthens our resolve."
