Twelve rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel Tuesday night. No casualties were reported.
Three of the rockets were intercepted the Iron Dome system.
Earlier, an Israeli aircraft and tank targeted a vehicle belonging to a Hamas official "very implicated" in the fires sparked on Israeli
territory by kites and flaming balloons launched from the Gaza Strip.
Two Hamas observation posts—the terror organization in power in the Gaza Strip—have also been attacked in the northern part of the enclave, the army said in a statement. Code red sirens sounded during the night in the Gaza border communities sending the residents to the bomb shelters.
