The Holon Lego Park, which will open on July 14 and run through the end of the summer vacation, is expected to be one of the main attractions of the season, with organizers also hoping to attract an adult audience with a captivating exhibition that will include Lego-built images of famous Israeli celebrities.
The Lego Group stepped up to the task and created portraits of 30 strong, prominent Israeli women, each comprised of no less than 4,500 Lego pieces.
Entitled "Women Through the Block," the exhibition features an array of famous Israeli women including Sara Netanyahu, the prime minister's wife; Minister of Sports and Culture Miri Regev; Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked; Hollywood actress Gal Gadot, Eurovision Song Contest winner Netta Barzilai, supermodel Bar Refaeli and a host of other famous national icons.
The Lego Park will be built in the indoor and air-conditioned Holon Toto Hall and will include the "Future Israeli City" made entirely of Lego, as well as a variety of family-friendly activities for children up to the age of 12.
Yedioth Ahronoth subscribers will enjoy an admission discount for entrance to the park.
