Syrian sources: Target shot down in west Damascus not Israeli
Syria denied reports early Friday it had shot down an Israeli aircraft in the wake of reports on the state news agency SANA that the Syrian army's air defense systems intercepted a target in western Damascus.
Syrian sources told Al Mayadeen there was no Israeli attack in Syria.
