A swastika and an SS unit symbol were sprayed on the outer wall of the Petah Tikva Mikdash Moshe Synagogue on Tuesday by unknown perpetrators.
Three months ago, a swastika was sprayed on a synagogue in Moshav Kfar Vitkin in the Sharon region. According to residents, it was a second time such an incident had happened in the community synagogue. They added that a swastika was also sprayed on a dog last October.

Last January, a swastika was found drawn on the Yitzhak Rabin statue in Tel Aviv's Rabin Square. Writing saying “thank you, 6 million” was added next to the swastika.
Police arrested a 43-year-old suspect in the vandalism, who was reported to have been drunk and carrying a knife. Two knives, markers and a book were in his possession when he was arrested.
