French FM condemns West Bank construction
The French Foreign Ministry issued a condemnation of the government’s decision to permit the construction of thousands of apartments in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
They also condemned the destruction and mandatory evacuation orders imposed on Palestinian construction in Area E1 east of Jerusalem.
France called on the Israeli government to abandon its settlement strategy in order to preserve the two-state solution with Jerusalem as capital.
