Syria's regime is expected to postpone by several weeks its planned offensive against the rebel groups in the Idlib province, according to London-based Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
It was reported the move would be made to allow Turkey to dissolve the Al-Nusra Front, a Syrian terrorist organization linked to al-Qaeda.
In addition, it was said Syria's President Bashar Assad postponed the offensive in light of pressure applied on him by the west, Turkey and Russia.
