Merkel at Yad Vashem: 'Germany has a responsibility to remember crimes of the Holocaust'
German Chancellor Angela Merkel toured the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum in Jerusalem on Thursday morning.
Merkel wrote in the guest book that "Germany has a responsibility to remember the crimes of the Holocaust and to fight anti-Semitism, xenophobia, violence and hatred."
Later in the day, Merkel will meet with President Reuven Rivlin.
