Report: Netanyahu defends Saudi leader in light of Khashoggi murder
The Washington Post reported Thursday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with senior US administration officials and defended Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in light of the ongoing investigation into the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
According to the report, Netanyahu and other leaders in the region, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, told the Americans that Saudi leader is an important strategic partner.
