Russia: Attacks in Syria will not solve Israel's security problems

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Monday that the Israeli attacks in Syria would not solve its security problems, but would increase tensions in the region.

In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Pais, Lavrov added that Israel risked the lives of Russian soldiers on Syrian soil when it violated its commitments and did not inform Moscow in advance about its planned attacks, "as in the attack in Tadmor in March 2017."
