Netanyahu: violence against women is terrorism

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that he considers "violence against women as terrorism."

Netanyahu spoke at the opening of the Ministerial Committee on Violence against Women and added that it is necessary to act against violent men whom he defined as "terrorists."

In addition, the prime minister said he would work to set goals and advance funding of programs that deal with the phenomena, as well as meet with a team of ministers once every two weeks to discuss the issue.
