Former defense minister Ya'alon registers new political party
Former defense minister Moshe Ya'alon registered a new party for the upcoming elections on Wednesday named "Telem," the Hebrew acronym of "National Statesmanlike Movement."
"This is a day of celebration, an exciting day for the citizens of Israel," said Ya'alon, who left the ruling Likud party after being ousted from the Defense Ministry by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "This is a day of hope mixed with immense responsibility myself and my partners on this journey feel."
