Magistrate's Court judge extends leave of absence due to judicial appointment scandal

The Magistrate's Court judge whose name has been linked to the investigation of alleged ethical offenses in connection with the appointments of judges, extended her leave of absence on Sunday for the remainder of the investigation.

Former Israel Bar Association chairman Effi Naveh is the main suspect in the case, and is accused of receiving sexual bribes in return for judicial appointments.
