Lieberman backs Gantz, saying Netanyahu was the one 'responsible for Protective Edge'
Former defense minister and Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman backed Former IDF chief of staff and the leader of the Israel Resilience Party Benny Gantz, following claims he was responsible for fails in Operation Protective Edge.
"If anyone is to blame — it's the Likud Party," he told Ynet . "The responsibility is first and foremost Benjamin Netanyahu's, who was prime minister during the operation. Military leaders are subordinate to Political leaders, and not vice versa.
