Likud: AG's indictment recommendation 'political prosecution'

The ruling Likud party called the attorney general's decision to recommend indictment of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “political persecution.”
“The witch hunt against the prime minister began with an attempt to attach to him four bribery cases. Even before the hearing, three of them had collapsed. The rest will also collapse like a house of cards as soon as the prime minister confronts the witnesses of the state,” said the party in an official statement.
