Netanyahu: Major Gaza operation only as last resort

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that Israel may be forced to carry out an IDF operation in Gaza, but added that such a step would only be taken after every alternative had been explored.

 "I want every parent to know that I did not send their child to war without exhausting all other options," Netanyahu told Israel Radio. "We may have to launch a large scale military operation in Gaza, but only as a final resort."
