Haifa residents report breathing difficulties, environmental research center reports unusual pollution
The Haifa Environmental Research Center reported a large concentration of dangerous particles and poor air quality in the city Monday, after several local residents reported that they are experiencing breathing difficulties and headaches.
"We expect the Ministry of Environmental Protection to safeguard the health of the Israeli public," said the research center," and added that high levels of Nitrogen oxide and Tropospheric ozone were found in Haifa's air.
