Communications Minister Kara quits government

Communications Minister Ayoob Kara announces his resignation from the government, two days after Ynet revealed that he had previously auditioned for Israeli reality TV show Survivor VIP.

The Likud lawmaker's resignation takes effect 48 hours after it is submitted.
