Rashida Tlaib considers arriving in Israel for family visit without Ilhan Omar
U.S. Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, who was denied entry to Israel Thursday over BDS support, is discussing with the Israeli Washington embassy conditions for a family visit, to be granted for humanitarian reasons if she agrees not to call for a boycott on Israel during her visit.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who was also supposed to visit Israel, will not be joining her. Tlaib is expected to arrive on Sunday is she signs an agreement not to use to occasion for political causes.
