Two Israelis infected with Zika virus during visit to Thailand

The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Environment said Wednesday two Israelis were infected with the Zika virus during a visit to Thailand and were later diagnosed in Israel.

A total of eight Zika patients were diagnosed since the beginning of the year, all infected with the virus abroad.

No transmission of the virus was detected within Israel.
