Abbas instructs PA to rebuild demolished home of convicted terrorist

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has instructed the Palestinian Authority to begin rebuilding the home of convicted terrorist Islam Abu Hamid, which was demolished earlier Thursday by the IDF.

Hamid was convicted of killing Staff Sgt. Ronen Lubarsky, 20, by dropping a marble slab on him from a rooftop during an arrest raid in the al-Am'ari refugee camp near Ramallah on May 24, 2018.

The house in the same camp has previously been demolished and rebuilt. Abbas said construction costs will be covered by the PA
