Popular search engine removes ad that linked to Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades’ website, but website can still be reached through regular search

Google has removed the Hamas-funded advertisement that linked to the website of the terror organization's military wing Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, following Ynet’s inquiry into the matter.
Internet surfers who entered the word “Hamas” in Arabic in the Google search engine, viewed, in addition to the search results, an AdWord message that linked directly to the website of the organization’s military faction Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades
.
The message placed above the link read “al-Qassam Brigades: The resistance website and the legend of Jihad.”
The link also appeared in a search of several other words, such as the “Gaza,” “Palestine,” “Jihad.”
This indicates that a Hamas source had paid Google, the most popular search engine on the web, for the advertisement.
Google Spokeswoman Debbie Frost said the advertisement was a breach of the search engine’s policy and was therefore removed.
Those who still wish to reach the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades website, which contains content that supports terror and the armed Palestinian struggle, can do so via the regular Google search.
