Tunick publishes first image of naked Dead Sea shoot

After completing his impressive nude Dead Sea shoot last month, photographer Spencer Tunick said that he would only publish the first photo of the installation in six months.
But it appears that the international campaign to help select the Dead Sea as one of the New 7 nature wonders of the world persuaded him to publish the first image much earlier than planned. Here it is:

During the shoot, in which 1,200 Israelis stripped, Tunick stressed that one of his goals was to draw international attention to the fact that the Dead Sea was drying up.
Tunick has also set up a website at www.nakedsea.info where he intends on publishing more images from the shoot in the future and encourage its visitors to vote for the Dead Sea.
