Israel's Army Radio
will soon cancel its main noon and midnight newscasts, as part of several efficiency moves, Ynet has learned.
New station commander Yaron Dekel
has decided to "repackage" the veteran newscasts, as well as replace their hosts, Ehud Graff, Noam Aviram and Roee Ron – who have become virtually synonymous with them over the years.

Another major change Dekel has ordered is a revamp to the station's iconic slogan – "Army Radio 24/7" – although the new slogan has yet to be revealed.
The score for the new slogan, as well as for several shows whose signature tracks will be revamped, will be composed by Irad Eshel,
who has composed the opening and closing credits for some of Israel's leading news shows.
An Army Radio source told Ynet that the Dekel's changes have "not gone down easily," especially since he made them unilaterally.
Army Radio offered the following comment: "We do not comment on the station's internal affairs."
