A 4.3-magnitude earthquake was felt in southern Israel
Monday. No injuries or damage were reported.
According to the Geophysical Institute of Israel the quake's epicenter was some 40km north of Eilat.
The tremor was felt at 4:44pm in the southern resort city as well as several communities in the Arava region.
A 3.4-magnitude earthquake
was felt in northern Israel in November. According to the GIS, its epicenter was 22km north of Nahariya.
The quake was felt in the greater Haifa area.
