'Death to Jews,' Swastikas sprayed around Jaffa neighborhood
Police investigating graffiti of swastikas, 'Death to Jews' around mixed Jewish-Arab neighborhood in Jaffa; so far no suspects arrested
Swastikas and inscriptions reading "Death to Jews" were spray pained Tuesday night around Jaffa.

Police are trying to track down the perpetrators, but have no suspects at this time.
The graffiti was sprayed in mixed Jewish-Arab neighborhoods.

Tensions between Jews and Arabs in Jaffa have been simmering for a few years against the backdrop of increased Jewish presence, which the Arab residents view as an attempt to push them out of the city.
The situation has worsened since 2008, following the establishment of a hesder yeshiva at the heart of the Ajami neighborhood.
