A devastating car accident involving a bus and a truck on Route 6 left four people dead and 14 injured.
Magen David Adom medics and police forces are at the scene. Air Force helicopters were also called to assist in rescue efforts.

A mass casualty event has been declared.
A preliminary investigation by traffic police suggests the garbage truck was parked on the side of the road when the bus, which was not speeding, hit her for an unknown reason.

Among the wounded, three are in serious condition and four in moderate condition. They were taken to the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem and the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv and Barzilay Medical Center in Ashkelon.

Yehuda Shushan, Magen David Adom's southern district chief, said that paramedics are treating dozens of victims, some in serious condition.
Ilan Fingerhut arrived at the scene about 10 minutes after the crash. "There are dozens of ambulances and I saw a helicopter landing. The bus is shattered on the front and a garbage truck is on its side. The bus' whole right side is crushed."
