Two IDF soldiers sustained minor wounds on Wednesday after two mortar shells fired from Syria hit the northern Golan Heights. One of the soldiers suffered shock and the other was hit by shrapnel. They were treated by Magen David Adom medics.
Last Tuesday, fire was opened at workers building a new fence on the Syrian border near an IDF post at the Golan Heights. No injuries were reported but a fire broke out at the scene.
A week earlier, an IDF force patrolling the Syria border in the northern Golan Heights was fired at. No injuries were reported. The IDF fired back.
