Passover Seder. 'Lots of food, no chametz'

Passover parody: 'Don't be slavin', just nosh'

Jewish a capella group Six13 unveils 'Uptown Passover,' its holiday version of Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk,' which melodically describes Israelites' exodus from Egypt.

Jewish holidays consist of the moments we cherish the most, where we educate the younger generations of the history of our ancestors, where we site, rejoice, eat traditional food, and enjoy the company of our friends, family members, and loved ones.

Since the dawn of the Internet Age, it's also become a time for holiday parodies.

In the spirit of their successful Hanukkah parody of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," Jewish a capella group Six13 have unveiled "Uptown Passover," a parody of Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" that melodically describes the plight of the Hebrew people, our struggles in Egypt, and other obligatory references to matzo.

The chorus, appropriately, goes "Don't be slaving, just nosh."

The group actually succeed in providing tons of important and pertinent information throughout the song, about Moses – "he said let my people go" – the Pharaoh, the commandments, the plagues, the Seder - "lots of food, no chametz."
