Ivanka Trump prays for father's success at Lubavitch tomb

With Clinton ahead in the polls, Ivanka Trump—whose Hebrew name is Yael—seeks divine intervention to help her father become President of the United States.

Ivanka Trump, whose Hebrew name is Yael, visited the grave of the Lubavitch rabbi to pray for the success of her father, Donald Trump, before voters go to the polls on Tuesday to elect the next US president.

She was accompanied to the grave of the famous rabbi by her husband, Jared Kushner, and Trump's Israel advisor Jared Greenblatt. Ivanka Trump converted to Judaism eight years ago.

Ivanka is thought to be the most powerful of the women in Trump's campaign and company. She is raising her children in an Orthodox home, and keeps both Shabbat and kosher dietary laws. She said in the past that her father immediately accepted her decision to convert, and is very supportive of her.

Trump's rival, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, is ahead in the polls, but her lead has been dropping in light of the FBI re-opening an investigation into her private email server.

Despite the importance of the Jewish vote, it should be noted that Jews only make up two percent of the US population, and don’t really influence the vote.

While Jews have historically voted Democratic, the rise in the number of Orthodox Jews is turning the Jewish population in the United States more and more Republican.
