Two Border Guard officers were lightly injured when a Palestinian driver raced through a checkpoint near the village of Sebestia in the northern West Bank on Saturday.
The injured policemen, who were hit by the vehicle, were evacuated to the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba.

During the incident, the officer in charge of the checkpoint fired shots at the wheels of the vehicle as it charged passed, but the driver did not stop and fled the scene.
The car was found shortly after the incident abandoned near the village of Burka and security forces were combing the area in search of the driver.
