Gal Gadot is the new face of Gucci fragrance

Israeli 'Wonder Woman' wins prestigious campaign previously advertised by Hollywood stars Blake Lively and James Franco.

Ever since she landed the role of Wonder Woman in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," Gal Gadot has been unstoppable, keeping herself busy with new and exciting projects.

The Israeli model and actress, who will celebrate her 30th birthday next month, has just been named the new face of Gucci's next female fragrance.

Gadot officially announced the new job on her Instagram and Facebook accounts (which have more than 6 million followers together).

She will be following in the footsteps of American actress Blake Lively and actor James Franco, who was the face of the Gucci men's fragrance.

According to estimates, Gadot will earn hundreds of thousands of dollars from the prestigious campaign.

Gadot, who starred in the "Fast & Furious" film series, signed contracts this year for future sequels of "Batman v Superman," including "Justice League" and the lead role in a solo "Wonder Woman" film, which is the biggest role ever played by an Israeli actress in Hollywood.

In August, Gadod landed a role in a new Hollywood thriller, "Criminal," set to be directed by Israeli-American Ariel Vromen. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gal will be joining a list of veteran actors who have already been in the movie, including Kevin Costner, Gary Oldman and Tommy Lee Jones. The movie also stars Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johansson's ex-husband, and Gadot will play his wife.

The story centers on a dead CIA operative's memories, secrets and skills which were implanted into a dangerous prison inmate, played by Costner, in the hopes that he will stop a diabolical plot.

Gadot recently finished filming her role in another thriller, "Triple 9," by Australian director John Hillcoat, which also stars Aaron Paul, Kate Winslet and Woody Harrelson.
