Former Mossad Chief Zvi Zamir dead at 98

Zvi Zamir who was head of the Mossad died on Tuesday, at the age of 98. He served at the head of the spy agency between 1968 and 1974, including during the 1973 Yom Kippur war and had warned of the planned attack on Israel but was ignored by military intelligence, which led to the debacle when the IDF was caught unprepared when the armies of Egypt and Syria attacked.
