Air Defense chief appointed as next IDF spokesperson

Commander of the IDF's Air Defense Command, Brig.-Gen. Ran Kochav, was appointed Friday as the military's next spokesperson by Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi.
The appointment was approved by Defense Minister Benny Gantz. Kochav will replace current IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Hidai Zilberman.
