Goalkeeper Daniel Peretz will join Bayern Munich after a 5 million Euro, five-year deal for his transfer from Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv was agreed, according to a report published on Wednesday.
Peretz who is currently in Slovenia will attend Maccabi's match against Celje in the Conference League playoffs on Thursday before traveling to Munich, where he will undergo medical examinations and begin training with his new team.
Bayern Munich, the Budesliga titleholder has long searched for a fresh backup goalkeeper following Yann Sommer's departure to Inter Milan. Bayern has cast its gaze on the 23-year-old Peretz, who is regarded as a promising prospect and holds a German passport.
