Abbas says PA no longer bound by agreements with Israel or the U.S.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday said the Palestinian Authority is free of all agreements that were in place with the Israeli and American governments, including security cooperation agreements.
Abbas was speaking to a meeting of the Palestinian leadership in Ramallah that dealt with the PA's response to Israel's intention to extend its sovereignty over parts of the West Bank.
