Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit referred to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption charges on Thursday, saying the prime minister would not have to step down despite the charges and the subsequent trial against him.
"I have made my position abundantly clear to the Supreme Court, (Netanyahu's) tenure as Prime Minister is still very much possible even during a criminal trial, as long as there are very clear limitation to prevent conflict of interest," said Mandelblit.
