Palestinians to continue vaccine negotiations with Pfizer, Israel

Elior Levy|
The Palestinian ministry of health announced on Sunday that it would continue to negotiate an agreement to obtain coronavirus vaccines with Pfizer Inc and its Israeli counterpart after axing a similar deal over the weekend.
Israel transferred some 100,00 vaccine doses to the Palestinian Authority on Friday which the Palestinians rejected since they were due to expire by the end of July.
Israel said in response that those specific vaccine doses were shipped first so the Palestinians could launch their vaccination rollout before they expire and that future batches still had a few more months.
