Chief Rabbi Lau slams synagogue closure, says to remain open in lower capacity

Chief Rabbi David Lau slammed on Thursday the decision made by some senior rabbis and city officials to close synagogues across the country to stop the spread of coronavirus.
"There has not been a clear order for closure," said Lau. "It is important to keep praying in these times." The chief rabbi suggested that prayers go on in groups of ten, keeping at least two-meter distance from each other.
