Hersch's mother talks about seeing her son in Hamas video

Rachel Goldberg, the mother of Hamas hostage Hersch Goldberg-Polin, said in a first interview with Ynet that the first sign of life from her son after more than 200 days was emotionally complex for her. "We finally got a sign of life from Hersh, thank God. But, on the other hand, he doesn't look like himself; he looks unhealthy, and seeing him without his hand for the first time was very traumatic for me, as a mother," she shared. On the decision to approve the publication of the video: "I didn't know it was controversial. Hamas sent to the whole world." (Yael Ciechanover)
