The Hamas terror group on Saturday, threatened to launch mass casualty attacks if Israel carries out targeted killing.
Calls for the assassination of Yayah Siwar were made in Israel after the deadly terror attack in Elad on Thursday.
Lebanese Al Mayadeen channel, closely affiliated with the Iran backed Hezbollah group, said Hamas officials also threatened to launch rockets at Tel Aviv in case of a targeted killing of one of its leaders.
The channel added that the Hamas message was relayed to parties mediating between Israel and the Hamas in efforts to avoid further violence.
