Source: Hamas, Egypt agree calm with Israel necessary for Gaza's reconstruction

Hamas has come to an understanding with Egyptian intelligence officials that a truce with Israel is necessary for the sake of the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, a source familiar with the talks told Turkish news agency Anatolia.
The parties also discussed in Cairo a prisoner exchange deal. However, at this stage, no progress has been made on the issue.
Meanwhile, a Hamas source told the Lebanese Al-Mayadeen news channel that the terror outfit has made progress in regards to ceasefire talks with Israel.
