Hamas offers amendments to cease-fire proposal it agreed to, WSJ reports

Hamas has offered some amendments to a cease-fire pact proposal it agreed to earlier this week and which Israel flatly rejected, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing U.S. officials.
The Palestinian terrorist group said Monday that it had agreed to a cease-fire deal that would involve an exchange of hostages it abducted on Oct. 7 for Palestinian prisoners in Israel. But the group added conditions that Israel hadn’t approved, including a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and an end to the Israeli blockade on the enclave.
