Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday that any ruling by the International Court of Justice in The Hague regarding a petition against Israel for alleged genocide in Gaza will not impact Israel's military operations in the Palestinian enclave.
"We will not accept any attempt by the court to undermine Israel's fundamental right to self-defense," he said, adding that while "decisions by the court in The Hague will not affect Israel's actions," they could "set a dangerous precedent that threatens our soldiers and public officials." (Ynet)
