Syrian state news agency SANA on Saturday reported there was "no secret clause" in the prisoner exchange deal with Israel, which according to earlier reports bought millions worth of Russian coronavirus vaccines for Syria.
"The purpose of the report about a clause, according to which Syria will receive vaccines from Israel, is to undermine the release of Syrian prisoners and blur the national and humanitarian side of the deal," said the news agency.
"Syria was clear about the exchange deal and it is an attempt to portray Israel as a humane state that does not occupy Arab land and commits crimes against the Palestinian, Syrian and Lebanese people."
