High Court issues interim order halting yeshiva funding, IDF to act ‘according to law’

Israel’s High Court issued an interim order on Thursday ordering the government to hold funds from ultra-Orthodox yeshivas after April one as the laws providing them with exemption from military service will expire.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit issued a statement shortly after the High Court’s notice saying they will act “according to the law” when it comes to drafting yeshiva students following April 1.
